It’s never too late to begin taking care of your skin. The truth is that your skin starts aging in your 20s even if it isn’t observable.
Among a number of reasons, the sun, your genes as well as your daily care products won’t work as well when this happens.
As for taking care of your skin, here are 5 things that you can do to reverse skin aging:
#1: A gentle cleanser is a good idea
Use an oil-free cleanser for oily skin and a creamy one for dry skin. For sensitive skin, it’s best to speak with your physician on how you can avoid irritation. Remember to wash your face with cool or warm water only.
#2: Use a moisturizer for your face
It’s common knowledge that moisturizer will protect your skin. For oily skin, you can find a lightweight moisturizer once a day while for dry skin, you can find others that you can use more than once a day.
#3: Apply sunscreen everyday
It’s important to use sunscreen for sun protection every day whether you are indoors or outdoors. A number of moisturizers already have sunscreen along with it but if yours doesn’t, find one which has a SPF of at least 30.
#4: Scrub off Dead Skin
Exfoliating your skin will make it glow. Use scrubs with synthetic beads, a soft washcloth or a spinning brush. In the case of dry skin, do it once a week. As for oily skin, do it twice or thrice a week. As for sensitive skin, consult your doctor as it might aggravate it.
#5: Organic products aren’t all that
Not all natural or organic products are safe for your skin. If you have sensitive skin, then some of these options can cause rashes or irritation. Test it on a less noticeable part of your skin before doing anything else.
